Honeycomb Foam System

Description
Product IntroductionHoneycomb composite system is a two-component pre-mixed material, mainly composed of Side A (formulated polyether) and Side B (polymeric MDI). During application, the two raw materials are mixed in proportion, foamed and cured via specific processes to produce rigid foam material with regular honeycomb-shaped microcells internally.
Product Advantages

1. Lightweight High Strength, Balanced Load Bearing and Weight Reduction:

The mixed foamed material forms a regular honeycomb cell structure. With low core density (20–50kg/m³), it delivers reliable supporting capacity while greatly reducing structural self-weight.

2. Sound & Thermal Insulation:

The closed-cell honeycomb structure effectively blocks heat conduction and attenuates noise.

3. Stable Molding with High Dimensional Accuracy:

Uniform cell geometry after foaming; molding shrinkage rate ≤1%, resistant to deformation.

4. Excellent Weather Resistance for Long Service Life:

Stable performance under both low- and high-temperature conditions with low failure risk.

5. Flexible Processability:

Multiple processes including pouring and continuous forming can produce honeycomb cores of varied thicknesses and dimensions. The material can also be bonded with metals, panels and other substrates.

Performance Parameters1. Core density: 20–50kg/m³
2. Cell size: 3–10mm
3. Flat-wise compressive strength: 0.8–4MPa
4. Shear strength: 0.5–2MPa
5. Bending strength: ≥80MPa
6. Thermal conductivity: ≤0.035W/(m•K)
7. Sound insulation value: 25–40dB
