PU Keel

Description
Common Industry NamePU Keel
Material NatureHigh density rigid polyurethane (PU) foam, manufactured via mold casting / injection foaming process.
Product Introduction

1. Glass fiber reinforced FPEU material is produced by continuous composite process. It is composed of multiple layers of continuous glass fiber compounded with high density rigid polyurethane.

2. This composite structure endows the material with the excellent thermal insulation performance of polyurethane, while glass fiber improves its bending strength and compressive strength.

3. It can be applied for vehicle floor reinforcement, internal wall reinforcing keels and other scenarios. It features high mechanical strength together with multiple advantages including waterproofing and corrosion resistance.

Technical Parameters1. Density: 300–500kg/m³
2. Panel thickness: 40mm, 50mm, 55mm, 65mm
3. Standard panel dimension: Length 2400mm / 4000mm × Width 595mm / 1240mm
4. Keel dimension: Custom cut based on panel dimensions; single piece length: 2440mm, 4000mm
5. Compressive strength: 13.67MPa
6. Bending strength: 28.02MPa
Product Advantages1. Low thermal conductivity with superior thermal insulation performance
2. Possesses reliable screw holding capacity
3. High strength, high toughness and lightweight
4. Waterproof, moisture proof and corrosion resistant
5. No surface treatment required for fast track construction
Product ApplicationsIt is an ideal alternative to aluminum alloy keels. After surface lamination with other materials, it supports direct screw fastening. It achieves over 30% weight reduction compared with aluminum alloy profiles. Especially suitable for door and window assemblies. Its waterproof surface requires no sanding or pre-treatment and delivers high bonding strength.
