Low-Density Foam System

Description
Product IntroductionThis is a low-density two-component polyurethane foaming material. It mainly consists of Side A (polyether polyol base material containing auxiliaries such as catalysts and blowing agents) and Side B (polymeric MDI). After the two components are mixed in proportion, they foam and cure rapidly to form a lightweight material filled with fine cellular structures. Its density is far lower than conventional rigid foams, and it is primarily applied in lightweight scenarios for cushioning, thermal insulation and filling.
Product Advantages

1. Low Density & Lightweight:

Density ranges from 17–19kg/m³.

2. Excellent NVH Performance:

Porous structure delivers broadband sound absorption (100–5000Hz) and vibration damping to reduce road noise, wind noise and structural vibration.

3. Thermal Insulation:

Low thermal conductivity; suitable for automotive hood filling applications.

4. Safe & Flame-retardant:

Formulation achievable to UL94 V-0 rating; excellent impact energy-absorbing performance to improve crash safety.

5. Eco-friendly with Low VOC:

Automotive-grade formulation with low odor and low emission, meeting interior environmental requirements.

6. Flexible Molding:

Supports pouring, molding and continuous mass production.

Performance Parameters1. Density: 15–18kg/m³
2. Compressive strength: 100–130kPa
3. Operating temperature: –30℃ ~ +60 ℃
4. Thermal conductivity: ≤0.040 W/(m•K)
5. Mixing ratio of Side A : Side B: 1:1.2–1.8 (common formulation, adjustable upon request)
6. Cream time, fiber time, gel time: 25–100s. Fast forming, compatible with manual / mechanical foaming.
